Careers with Diversifying Group

Inclusion is at the heart of what we do. We’re very proud of our working culture and make every effort to ensure everyone can feel as comfortable as possible at work, so you can be your authentic self everyday.

Through our work, we’re supporting people and organisations on their journeys to becoming genuinely inclusive. Come and be a part of the change!

We believe everyone should work in a way that suits them. That’s why we operate a hybrid working model, where we ask our team to join in-person strategy (and fun!) days once a month in our London office. Outside of these, you’re free to work from home, no matter where in the UK you live. And since not everyone enjoys working from home, our London space is always open for our team to use whenever they need.

Wellbeing

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and it is imperative to us that everyone is happy and healthy at work and that staff are afforded a positive work-life balance.

We genuinely believe that work is a place that can have a positive impact on maintaining good mental wellbeing when purpose, structure and a sense of belonging is provided. At Diversifying Group, we recognise that it is our responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment where people feel comfortable having open and honest conversations. Struggling with mental or physical health can prove such an isolating experience and knowing that the organisation you work with actively addresses this can go a long way to alleviate a potential source of additional worry.

Our CEO and Founder, Cynthia, is on the International Advisory Board at Headspace, a science-backed app in mindfulness and meditation, providing unique tools and resources to help reduce stress, build resilience, and aid better sleep.

What are we doing to support wellbeing?

  • Options to work flexibly and remotely. We pride ourselves on our culture of flexibility and balance for all our team
  • End of year extended company break of at least 3 days in addition to annual leave
  • Providing employees access to Everymind at Work (an app which provides 24/7 wellbeing support) and Headspace (a meditation app)
  • Affording employees the time and space to talk about their wellbeing to their managers in regular check-ins
  • Staff members who are trained mental health first aiders and can offer support when needed
  • Ad-hoc self-care and wellness days, allowing everyone in the organisation some time off to take a pause and recharge
  • Monthly team building activities

Our Academy

Our commitment to championing equal opportunities led us to set up the Diversifying Group Academy. Our Academy is open to anyone at the beginning of their career, or to individuals who want a career change. No previous experience is necessary - just an aspiration to develop your skills and a desire to work within a Diversity & Inclusion Services organisation.

The Academy runs across all our departments including Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Consultancy, People & Operations and Customer Success. The Academy is designed to give you a solid grounding and understanding of the key tasks, principles, and challenges of your department.

You will receive full training and will be set a series of objectives that you will be assessed against. Once you have successfully completed your training, you will be awarded a permanent position within Diversifying Group. If you would like to be considered for our Academy, please get in touch.

We’re becoming a BCORP

We are delighted to announce that we are applying for BCORP certification, which is granted to companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. BCORP Certification is to business what Fair Trade is to coffee and joining this movement will help us stay accountable to our mission and keep on track in shaping change in the workplace and beyond.

We see certification as being the next step in our journey of meeting our socio-environmental commitments and ensuring that no-one is left behind. We will update you once the certification process is complete.
